It is my privilege to introduce Hanoi University of Agriculture (HUA), the oldest and leading agricultural university in Vietnam. Within Vietnam, HUA is top rated for research, teaching and extension in the various agricultural fields. With the aim of better accomplishing its important missions, HUA has a strong commitment to support agricultural and rural development in Vietnamthrough its traditional educational programs, its innovative outreach programs, and its research projects. Through these efforts, HUA contributes to the improvement of the agricultural sector of the country.

Based on the University's excellent educational achievements and traditions, the administration and faculty continuously strive to improve the educational content of courses, our teaching methodology and our research activities to meet the needs of society. The university seeks to offer students the most flexibility in its programs of study. In order to do this, the training curriculum has recently been renovated and both quality assurance and credit systems have been adopted.Many collaboration projects between HUA and international partners have been successfully implemented, contributing to the enhancement of the University's teaching and research as well as to national development. In pursuit of our goals, we extend a hearty invitation to any students, researchers, organizations and other individuals from the world over to cooperate with us in the areas of teaching, research, and outreach,etc.

Located in the suburbs of Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, HUA is a lively campus with students from many countries present on campus. In the past few years,students who have participated in research and study activities at HUA have come from China, Germany, Laos, Cambodia, Belgium, Japan, Denmark, the Netherlands, and the USA. We extend a warm welcome to international students and highly value their broad knowledge, cultural diversityand the experiences they share with our Vietnamesestudents.
